Talus

After riding and pushing up talus switchbacks, I'm finally at Snare Lakes with Cleaveland Mountaineering frame pack V1! This pack was made with an upper compartment and lower compartment with a velcro divider, molded tooth zippers, Dyneema Gridstop fabric, and was a little rough around the edges. At V6 now, things are getting much more refined. Fun Fun!

Snow

I woke up to this site on my first winter bikepacking overnighter. It was a short sub 24 hour trip, but I had to test out the new Brooks B-17 saddle (by pushing my bike up 2,000 vert of snowmobile trails) seat bag V1, and a (commercial!) Mountain Hardwear Phantom 32 sleeping bag . I have made a down quilt and a synthetic quilt, but didn't want to mess with down again.
It snowed all night and I was having trouble sleeping, so I got up early and was riding by 5 am, and home by 7:30, tired and dirty, but loved the experience!

Welcome!
